N3 Remote Worker - Helping you to work through the big freeze (Feb 2011)

N3 Remote Worker users have benefitted from the flexibility that the service provides during the Big Freeze.

Last week, the number of concurrent N3 Remote Worker users rose to 2,100, peaking on Thursday, 2 December. Under normal circumstances there would be some 1100 concurrent remote users during business hours.

The N3 Remote Worker tokens let users access all the data they would normally access at their desks, by simply logging on at any internet-connected location. During the last week's adverse weather conditions, users could avoid travel chaos and work from home knowing that information was being exchanged with their  office location securely and in real time.

So, the N3 Remote Worker service helps us to respond quickly in emergency situations and keep you connected. In fact, it's  a fully scalable service which can accommodate up to 10,000 users at any one time enabling full business continuity.  Want to find out more?

N3's Remote Worker services

The options available for remote worker are Single User VPN and Extended VPN. The difference between the two is in the level of encryption and security.  Click here for more information about N3 Remote Worker services
