N3 announces closure of Coatbridge PoP
N3SP is pleased to announce the successful closure of the Coatbridge Point of Presence (PoP) site.
A total of 13 PC and Ethernet circuits, together with a number of DSL circuits, were migrated from Coatbridge and assigned to alternative PoPs across the new N3 core platform in recent months. The final site migrated was Wishaw Health Centre which was successfully completed on 7 Feb 2011.
The closure of Coatbridge supports NHS Scotland's efficiency programme by introducing cost savings.
